There is a new way for Foodies to have lunch in the Chicago Loop to give them a true break in their day and enjoy the foods they love! Eataly and REVIVAL Food Halls are the the beginning of a new wave of Food Halls opening up to bridge the gap between the normal fast food, "healthy" fast food, cafes and a seated restaurant. Food Halls bring a social aspect to your lunch break with communal tables and being able to eat from the Chicago's destination restaurants. 
 
A great example is when I went met a group of friends at REVIVAL to check it out for the first time. We did our lap to check out our selections and we realized that none of us would need to eat dinner! The main restaurant station that drew us there was SMOQUE. This is a restaurant that can make you happy for the rest of the day! As I write this I am realizing that I probably have an unhealthy love for food; at least it is not a love/hate!

Starting a new lifestyle is half the battle! When recognizing the value of a farm to fork lifestyle after education to next step is to visit a farm where your food originates. Today two of our team members visited Alden Hills Farm in Walworth, WI. This farm was especially interesting because it produces protein that is organic, grass fed and grass finished.


We had the opportunity to meet the family running the farm and visit the farm stand that is open from 11am-6pm Monday-Friday. Before you visit your farms, we suggest checking out the hours of their operation or making an appointment. https://aldenhillsorganicfarms.com/

The owners were young and genuinely enjoyed teaching us about their process, the types of animals they raise and the value of consuming this protein.
